The Bicentennial of the Battle of the Boquet River aka Battle of Willsboro/Willsboro Falls on June 14, 2014 in Historic Downtown Willsboro,NY.
Our Society with the Town of Willsboro, NY were very proud in accomplishing the Restoration of this Battle Monument.
Originally erected in 1914 by our Society the SSWGBSNY, it was restored and rebuilt in 1940 and restored this June 2014. Major Kudos to Ryan’s Masonry, LLC of Plattsburgh for the fine restoration work done.
Historian LeMay organized the event and MC’d the program as well as with the Town Supervisor Shaun Gilliland did the ceremonial ribbon cutting of the newly restored monument.
We were honored to be joined by the community in participating in this event. More information and pictures to be posted soon.
On June 14th, 2014, the SSWGBSNY, Led by Society Historian, Raymond W. LeMay III,
Led and directed the effort which organized and executed a plan which restored the Monument to it’s former glory in Willsboro.
In grand cooperation with the Town of Willsboro, NY and the generous services of the Masonry Restoration provided by
Ryan’s Masonry, LLC of Plattsburgh, NY We were able to fulfill this restoration.
We are Very Proud to be a Partner with them in this Project. Thank you Ryan’s!
